Last years Rookie of the Year Award winner Krystal Ecclestone has taken the next step and won this years Drag Racer of the Year Award. See below for a list of full results.

06:03:2007 WASSMA members contest Westernationals

Supercharged Outlaws saw two WASSMA members battle it out in the final with the spoils going to Steve McGuiness in the wild FED against Steve Raven. A 0.047 light was not good enough for Shane Wynd whose opponent pulled a 0.000 light which saw Pooh lose the final in Super Sedan. In Modified Jim Duffy unfortunately red lit his way out of the final and in the final of Super Street WASSMA member Alby Bakranich lost in the final after also top qualifing.

Shane Wynd won the Final in Super Sedan at WSID Summernationals on the weekend. Congratulations to Shane and his crew.

Winners were - Alby Bakranich in Super Street, Kevin Stipkovich in Super Sedan and Steve McGrath in Supercharged outlaws. Jim Duffy was runner up in Modified. 	9/01/08 Mike Naylor - News Story Just a short thanks to WASSMA. I have been a member on and off over the past 5 years and never really got into the race day activities, such as run packages etc. Last meeting was the first time we won anything and to actually win best super sedan and best of the best was a huge thrill for me and the team. We had some huge dramas at the 12/01/08 meeting and ended up running a little slower than usual as we stripped a thread in one of the heads that holds the throttle bracket and then had to cable tie the bracket to the manifold just to run. We didn't get full acceleration thus running a little slower, but we kept the consistancy at least. Thanks again to all the wassma members and Shane and Geoff. 	4:02:2007 WASSMA Members make it to all finals at NFC Meet Once again WASSMA members dominated their respective Group 3 classes at the 3rd of Feb Nitro Funny Car meet. In Supercharged Outlaws Tony Argentino beat fellow member Alan Mahnkoph who red lit. In Super Sedan it was the same story with Nick Gardiner beating Alistar McClure who also red lit. Neil Scott won in Super Street and Krystal Ecclestone made it to the final in Modified but unfortunately broke out. WASSMA results here.
	19:01:2007 WASSMA members take out all Finals The USA Jet car meet at Perth Motorplex saw WASSMA members win in all finals. Alan Mahnkoph won in Super Charged Outlaws, Jim Duffy beat fellow member Krystal Ecclestone in the Modified final, Kaine Weighell also beat a fellow member in Matt Treloar for the final of Super Sedan and Valiant driver Ian Taylor won in Super Street.
